Unfortunately, I could not contact Keith, I had sent out an e-mail, but I’m sure he has plenty of better things to do than to read a teenage girls e-mail.
So I’ll just start here, I was inspired to do my project on Keith because of my roots, what I mean by that is I come from the country, where we didn’t listen to Justin Bieber or Niki Minaj, we listened to country music straight off the radio or a CD and rarely a cell phone, the truth is we didn’t really need cell phones, we had the outside to entertain us and the radio was plenty good enough. So when we were told to do an article on a topic and someone who is a professional in that certain field, I thought to myself what matters to me and the first thing that came to mind was music, and where I came from so that’s how I got to country music. I then chose Keith Urban because of an article I had read previously to the project about Keith’s story of drugs and bouncing back to be a famous Grammy winning performer, song writer, and incredible guitarist. And the fact he is my favorite mal country singer of all time, along with Carrie Underwood as my favorite female country singer.
To me, Keith Urban is an inspiration, he came from a town in New Zealand, moved to Australia only to live with his parents then picking up guitar after seeing a poster in his dads convenience store for guitar lessons, and soon to start appearing at local events and TV shows. Even releasing his very first album. Moving to Nashville only to become addicted to cocaine. But bouncing back and making a miraculous recovery. Keith conquered what most people can’t, he overcame a drug addiction and took responsibility for his actions admitting he had done wrong and making up for it. Keith is truly amazing.
I know he will probably never read or even look at this website, but he is truly an inspiration and an amazing person. I don’t just love him for his singing and fame, which a lot of people cannot say, but I love him for all his recoveries, his mistakes, his strength, and of course his talent. He is not just some pretty boy who can rock a guitar. He is a loving husband to Miss Nicole Kidman, and a father to his 2 little girls, he is truly and honestly incredible. I would kill to get the chance to meet him, that’s definitely going on my bucket list!

I The reason I chose Carrie Underwood is because I love country music and she is just one of my fav singers. I love Keith Urban but Carrie Underwood tells a good story. I just remember listening to her on the radio and singing along with her. When I went and looks how much Grammy's she's won, I was shocked. another thing I love about Carrie Underwood is her husband ( Mike Fisher ), because he is a national hockey player, for Nashville i will continue to follow up on Carrie for more years to come.
